Join Us in Changing the Way Data and Information is Used and Shared Across the Criminal Justice System!

We would like to thank everyone who attended this meeting. We are working on posting a recap of the meeting and will provide a link from this page when we do.

A networking and brainstorming session will be held on January 14, 2014 in Washington, DC, to explore current opportunities for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of criminal justice and public safety operations using newly emerging Ultra-High Speed Communication networks. This meeting is designed to facilitate collaboration and information sharing in support of the NIJ Challenge, "Ultra-High Speed Apps: Using Current Technology to Improve Criminal Justice Operations."

The meeting is open to the public and of potential interest to software developers, technologists, researchers, and criminal justice practitioners. This is an information sharing opportunity, and, therefore, ideas shared in this forum should be considered public information. Although we hope that participants will freely share, we understand that some ideas and information may be proprietary and recommend normal prudence in sharing such ideas in a public forum.

The meeting will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2014, 1:15 - 4 p.m.
U.S. Department of Agriculture
Jefferson Auditorium
1400 Independence Ave, SW
Washington, DC

Please RSVP to safetydata@ostp.gov.
