Understanding Search Results — Tabs and Sort Order
Tabs —
Lists of publications typically are presented in three tabbed categories:
- Published by NIJ — produced and formally published by the National Institute of Justice.
- Sponsored by NIJ — based on NIJ-funded projects but not published by the National Institute of Justice; includes reports submitted by grantees and articles from peer-reviewed and trade periodicals.
- All Publications — complete listing including publications from the other two tabs.
Sort order —
Lists are initially sorted by the date that they were added to the collection, which may differ from the publication date. Search results are ordered by relevancy. At the top of the search results, select the buttons Sort by Title, Sort by Date Added or Sort by Relevancy to change the search order.
