Interagency Council for Applied Homeland Security Technology

The National Institute of Justice is a member of the Interagency Council for Applied Homeland Security Technology (ICAHST), an ad hoc council of organizations involved in the information technology issues of homeland security, law enforcement and counterterrorism.

As the agency responsible for identifying law enforcement technology needs and developing solutions to meet those needs, NIJ's work is directly related to the Interagency Council for Applied Homeland Security Technology's 2010 Long-Term Research Needs (pdf, 40 pages) Exit Notice.
