National Institute of Justice (NIJ): Research, Development, Evaluation

Viewing Crime and Justice From a Collaborative Perspective

July 1999
The National Institute of Justice emphasizes collaborative research between practitioners and researchers in order to bring their respective strengths to the problem solving equation. This NIJ Research Forum, Viewing Crime and Justice From a Collaborative Perspective: Plenary Papers of the 1998 Conference on Criminal Justice Research and Evaluation, offers a perspective that crosses all justice system components and subject areas. It explores complex approaches in the way practitioners and researchers relate to one another in communities throughout the Nation.
