Crime Prevention Research Working Group

The National Institute of Justice established an interdisciplinary working group to discuss and identify research issues, questions and gaps to be addressed in the field of crime prevention research. Working group members represented both researcher and practitioner communities.

Each participant was considered an expert in the area of crime prevention, either from an academic or practitioner perspective. The juxtaposition of research and practitioner offered an opportunity to address issues from two different but related perspectives.
